Anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
Spent the week having a learn as you go type crash course of SBS 2011 that needs to be installed on an office network. After a couple cycles of install, reformat and repeat I finally figured out how to get the basics down.
Thinking that I see the neon bar light at the end of the tunnel, I install the anti-virus program... Ooops, needed to install the management system first - install anti-virus, install management.
At the same time I thought I could set up the first workstation. Clean install of the operating system, install the client package of the anti-virus. No problems what so ever...
Forgot to install a client package on the server. No problem I will do that right away...
Murphy stole my password to the anti-virus management console

I'm done for the day. I will just uninstall it tomorrow (Saturday), reinstall it correct and be in and out in 15 minutes.
Next day, go to uninstall the anti-virus management software - need the password that Murphy stole
I'll do a clean install of the server, do everything right the first time and be done. 1 hour later it finishes installing. Go to join the network drive to the domain name - failed.
Huh? After trying 5 times I unplug everything from the network drive except for the server because that worked last time. Nope
Murphy changed the domain name by switching 2 letters
So what was suppose to be a 15 minute job is now just past hour 4 on my Saturday...
A couple of things I forgot to mention in the beginning - I have no formal training and this is a favor for the wife
