Turock: I learned to play through an instructor, then I got an amp and now I play through that.

First of all, the only appropriate thing to apologize for is, well, nothing really on the internet. Secondly, the appropriate way to apologize is to send a 6 pack of a good little micro-brew from around your town, or barring that, some other good beer.
I'd suggest reconsidering your stance on apologies, because there are quite a lot of us that enjoy expensive beers, and even more who will ask for the most expensive 6 pack they can find if given half the chance.
