My Arse Has Shrunk - help!

Sign in to disble this ad
So the last couple of weeks, I've been noticing that my pants have been getting less and less snug. And then this weekend, they just wouldn't stay up. Usually my butt would get in the way and keep them up, but this time they won't. A couple of wiggles, and they are down to my knees. The other problem is that the bottom of my pant-legs get all nappy from me stepping on them when the pants get baggy. I've never had this happen before, and not sure what to do.

So do I get a belt?
Then I'd risk putting buckle rash on my basses

Should I open upmy wallet and send my wife to buy me new pants?
But if my arse keeps shrinking, then I'd only have to repeat the process again.

Should I eat more in hopes of making my butt bigger?
But what if it only goes to my gut and not my butt? I would look like an anatomical catastrophe.

I'd appreciate any help or advice. My life has been in a disarray since having to pull my pants up all the time.

I thought my ass was shrinking.

Turns out - pants are just growing.

I measured a 32" waist pair of Levi's I had sitting around - probably 15 years old.

32" waist measures out at 32"

The I measured a brand new pair of Levi's with a 31" waist (had to go smaller, thought my ass was shrinking)...

and they measured almost 35".

So 15 years ago a 32" waste was actually 32", now a 31" waist is more like 35".

Nah, he wasn't playing a Bongo into an Ampeg 810, followed by a Ludwig with Zildjians.

I say buy braces. You could rock braces.

Since you are Oriental, you automatically have built-in tailoring skillz to go with the dry cleaning and rice making skillz, so just hem them up.

If it were me, I would buy new pants.

Maybe my gut has pushed out the edges of the pants so that they are actually larger than they are labeled.

I tried a belt. I'm wearing one now, and I'm still pulling my pants up. I have it tight around the waist, but it's still slipping. There's not enough butt for it to grab on when it starts to slide.

The other downside to having to pull up my pants all the time is the draft that comes up my backside.

This is getting serious.

Begin doing heavy back squats (to powerlifting standards). This will build your arse, and enable you to have something to rest your belt line on. If nothing else, it will help your thighs grow bigger, which will hold up the pants as well.

You could rock the suspenders, too. Or a lederhosen, if you're that kind of person.

You need a better belt, one without notches. I use some sort of threaded material belt with one of those metal clip-like buckles. To avoid buckle rash, fasten your belt on the side, or the on the back, of your pants when playing.

I was acutally contemplating that.

My wife was hypothesizing that maybe the relaxed cut jeans won't work anymore, since I don't have as much booty as I used to.
