My Biggest FAIL ever

Sign in to disble this ad
A fail so awful it made a grown man nearly cry and vomit simultaneously on the side of the road.

Last night I smacked my truck off a guardrail. No biggie, right? New bumper, fender and grill section, easy as pie. After all, thats why you pay an obscene amount of money for insurance, isn't it?

Well, this truck is one of 800 or so ever built, one of around 400 for its year and one of less than 100 with the options it has. It never sees winter, it's as immaculate as I can keep it, I hate to drive it. Yesterday was my first trip out with it since halloween and I planned on throwing it back in the garage this morning. I had to share this with someone as my wife is sick of hearing my blubbering and patting my head to tell me everything would be fine. First carfax report incident on an extremely rare collectable truck, THIS GUY. Chevy guys out there, I ask you to weep a little with me on this, the blackest of valentine's days in history.

LousyBassPlayer- soon to be bringing back the band FAILURE!

OH, I don't hate to drive it! This thing is a BLAST to drive. It rapes mustang gts and lightnings without much trouble. I was just always scared of hurting it. And now I have. Thanks for the toast!

Oh yeah, I got lucky with the options the original owner put into it. HE didn't opt for the factory custom body kit, which would have been impossible to locate new as Joe GIbbs no longer runs a performance shop. The body work is all stock 05 silverado, and fortunately the bumper took it the worst. The hood sruvived scot free and the fender is 90%. Didn't even break the headlights!

oh, yeah I got so caught up in crying over it I didn'teven say what it was. ITs an 05 Chevy Silverado Joe Gibbs Perfromance edition. I's basically a work truck with most of the luxury upgrades and a blown and built 5.3, locked rear and a custom computer. They were sold throguh a few chevy dealers, mostly in the south I think, during 04 and 05. MIne was made towrad the middle of 05, close to the end of production. When JOE Gibbs's son was runningthe performance division and (unlike roush) they thought it was detracting from the race team, and stopped doing it. Can't get anything from them anymore. Luckily mine is repairable by any chevy dealer.

But C is for cookie and that should be good enough for you.
