He runs w/me, likes his belly rubbed/scratched & his head patted. He eats anything, beats up the other cat, & his only truly catty behavior is hunting(he's bagged two birds & a good-sized rabbit, & he's not a year old). Sorry no pics, maybe later. Anyone else have a pet w/an amusing identity crists?
BTW, his name is PePe- he's got the black & white tux thing going on.

Your rabbit reminded me of a cat I had that fetched for about two days, then some cat friend must have told that's a dog thing because she stopped.

The cat in my house at the moment, took our dog as a mommy when she was young. I believe she still believes to be a dog, even though there's quite a lot of feline behaviour as well.
The dog (a miniature schnauzer) was NOT pleased at all about this arrangement, I guess it was a bit embarassing having a cat sucking his nipples. And YES, there was this one incident...., let's just say that the cat stayed out of his way for a while .
Regards

Our cats specialize - one in rats, one in birds. Both good huntresses.
But they don't bother our baby chickens, because one of our dogs (the one in my avatar - 120 lbs and still growing) has adopted the baby chicks. She absolutely loves them. Funny as heck.

This morning at about 9:30 she of course wanted food but we weren't ready to get up. I'm awake but just laying there with my eyes closed and we had a fan going. All of a sudden I hear the fan turn off and I thought the power went out. I roll over and look at my bureau where the fan was (small oscillating fan) and there she is sitting next to it with a "What?" look on her face. She friggin turned the fan off because she knew it would get my attention! I have no idea how she did it.
She can open my dresser drawers
She can open cabinets. Most of them have locks now.
She talks to us. She usually will answer us when we speak to her. She actually reminds me of a little kid because when she runs around the house she makes these "Rrrrrrrrrrrr!" noises like a kid would make imitating a car, and she'll run around and always touch the corner of the archway to our living room and freeze. Almost like when you were a kid and you'd pick something as home base, run to it, tag it, and then run back off.
