My coffee mug smells like bacon

I just reheated my coffee in the micro, and someone must have cooked bacon in there recently. Cause my mug smells like bacon. And we are all out. And I have to work so no time to go out and buy more.

Bacon is BEST cooked in the microwave. The only thing that comes close to the quality of it is if you cook it in the oven but that takes a lot longer.

Microwave bacon = equal cooking/no uncooked fat, essentially zero cleanup, perfect crispiness, can be cooked whilst naked.

I prefer it from the oven. I put it on a grid / rack over a shallow pan for the fat to drip off. I'm talkin THICK bacon here.

I've done it in the microwave, it wastes too much paper towels & makes yer microwave rank. Just my opinion.

If you need a quick bacon fix, Hormel's microwavable bacon is passable. Not great, but passable. The best part is that I can ask my 5-year-old to make me bacon, and bring it too me, without worrying about her getting disfigured by hot grease.

The problem was, I had no more bacon and the smell from my mug was making me hungry.

So, tonight I washed the micro plate and bought bacon. Problem solved.

My wife has a special microwave bacon fryer. It does a great job. Your bacon gets really good and crispy.
