I'll miss ya, Sam 
She was fine a few weeks ago, started limping and wasn't eating last week, and collapsed tonight. When she was rushed to the vet ER her platelet count was near 0 and she was diagnosed with leukemia. She died before they could euthanize her.
She was seriously the best dog imaginable and this just doesn't seem fair. The vet said it was a rare form of leukemia but regardless she wasn't even 10.
This sucks |

My dog is starting to get a bit old, and I'm sure im going to be an inconsolabe girl when she decides she has had enough of me. Can only imagine how you feel. Hang in there.

-Mike | She was the white one. Sweet as can be and an awesome bird dog - hospital visitation and AKC master hunter certified.
Thanks for the well wishes, guys. I'm doing better but the cat definitely knows something's missing.
I'm probably going to hold off on getting a puppy for a bit, since A. I don't want to pick one emotionally and B. I'll be moving to either Chicago or North Carolina at the end of the year. |
