My folks bought me Guitar Hero III for the Wii.......

and my 12 year old niece DESTROYED me on it (she got it for Christmas as well so we had 2 guitars). I couldn't even finish a song playing battle against her. She keep breaking my strings and reversing my neck. Towards the end I actually got a sudden death with her and she crushed me within seconds.

At least she wants me to teach how to actually PLAY guitar or bass now so it's ok.

If you take it as a game it's actually pretty darn fun. Just because I like Monopoly it doesn't make me a Realtor.

Guitar Hero is just plain fun entertainment.

As a longtime Sony fanboy (due to 3rd party RPG's) I can say that the PS3 is currently the crappiest next gen system out. And it has been since it's release. I'm a fan of the 360 personally, but I'm honest enough to admit that the Wii has probably beaten both the 360 and PS3 in terms overall. There's still signs everywhere limiting Wii's, cause everyone wants them and Nintendo can't supply enough of them.

Does the game use any Wireless features like other Wii games or is it all in the buttons? I've been wanting it for a while.

Yeah, they've gone out of stock just about everywhere down here two Christmas' in a row. They sell like mad, and the price hasn't dropped since its first release. The PS3 dropped a couple of hundred in a matter of weeks.

Yeah, I just did a quick search one Wii's on eBay, and most of the completed auctions for new Wii's were at least 350 and up. The system only retails for 250...

I enjoy the game as well, but I also don't feel like the game is destroying the next generation of musicians either. We plug it in, play, have some fun, and turn it off.

wii is by far the crapiest.

360 has nothing on ps3...ps3 is suppose to have a crap load of games come out in 2008, which is all that it has been lacking. so get ready for ps3 to be completely awesome.....and yes ive played them all....and i have ps3.

apparently some shops were "scalping" their own stock on e-bay instead of selling them over the counter to f2f customers.

I'd buy a PS3, however, the price is still way too high in the UK... drop the price to £150 and I might bite... £300 for the 40GB version is just too much... and £350 for the 60GB WHAT!!!!!

(for you USANians, that's $600 and $700 respectively... no wonder we feel ripped off over here)

Well, your key word right there is SUPPOSED. Of course opinions can change overtime, depending on what games come out and whatnot. Right now, based on sales and innovations in the gaming market, PS3 is still the worst IMO. And the Wii is the best. And I don't even own one.

Oh, and as far as 360 having nothing on PS3, IMO it has one thing better on it... these things called games, lol.

Wii and 360 is the place to be.

Sure PS3 has horsepower, but if there aren't many good roads to drive on right now what's the point.
