My Grandmother Died Today

Not that anybody knows me here on a personal basis, but i just had to spit this out...life has a way of kicking you in the teeth sometimes

My Grandmother (Paternal) passed away friday due to complications of a stroke....the woman is not even in the ground yet and the Bull@*%t has already started...family can really suck sometimes.....

I was the first grand child and just a little spoiled by this woman and up until yesterday we shared a bond that the other grandkids did not enjoy....as a child i spent most of my time at her house (both parents worked) she taught me many things and was often the only ear and sounding board i had most of the time....of the several thousands books i own she bought the vast majority of them without blinking an eye....i will miss her smile and her odd sense of humor

long trip ahead guys to make it to the funeral wish me the best...

I'm sorry man. I know grandparents nowadays often are much more present in young peoples' lives(than my era, 30-40 years ago). It seems she had a good influence on you; keep that alive, eh?

I'm sorry for your loss brother. I lost my grandmother just before I graduated from High School. She was one of my best friends. Her beautiful spirit made me a stronger person.

I wish you peace.

I'll pray for you man!

My grandmother passed away very recently, and I can relate to you.

Just keep your head up, man.

Grandmas are cool. Mine are both long gone, but I have great memories. Sounds like you do, too. Hang in there.

Sorry to hear about your Gradmother's passing. Mine passed away a few weeks before Christmas. It was tough when my Mom handed me a present that my Grandma had got me.
