huge classic rock fans! My 11 year old son is really into AC/DC while my 15 year old daughter likes Rush, Eric Clapton and Led Zeppelin. They've been scrounging through my mp3 and cd collections and their mp3 players are loaded with a mostly classic rock. I guess I'm doing something right! Next stops on the music education train? James Jamerson, Larry Graham and Jaco! |

It's funny because they're saying exactly what I'm saying about the current state of mainstream music. It sucks! |

It sucks! | Sweet, I'm 16 and my dad introduced me to classic rock, it's my favorite genre infact The Rolling Stones are my favorite band! Nice to see them getting into good music to many kids are into mainstream crap .
Oh all that classic rock also led me to blues, progressive and Old school metal. From King Crimson to Tool, Rolling Stones to Guns N Roses, BB King to Metallica
yes I listen to what most 16 year olds don't, and I love it

I was learning the riff to Jungle Boogie about a month ago, and my younger, eight-year-old son came into my office and started singing along, bobbing his head. I was amazed, and proud as heck!
