My new truck (not)

Sign in to disble this ad
I bought a new Ford F250 Super Duty Tri-Flex Fuel Truck. It runs on either hydrogen, gasoline, or E85.

I returned to the dealer yesterday because I couldn't get the radio to work. The service technician explained that the radio was voice activated.

'Nelson,' the technician said to the radio. The radio replied, 'Ricky or Willie?' 'Willie!' he continued and 'On The Road Again' came from the speakers.

Then he said, 'Ray Charles!', and in an instant 'Georgia On My Mind' replaced Willie Nelson.

I drove away happy, and for the next few days,

Every time I'd say, 'Beethoven,' I'd get beautiful classical music, and if I said, 'Beatles,' I'd get one of their awesome songs.

Yesterday, some guy ran a red light and nearly creamed my new truck, but I swerved in time to avoid him. It got me so angry that I shook my fist at him and yelled, 'A$$ Hole!'

Immediately the radio responded with, "Ladies and gentlemen, The President of The United States . . . "

Damn I love this truck....

This reads like some Readers Digest story. I demand video evidence.

Is there really a truck that runs on hydrogen, gasoline, or E8? If so that would be sweet. Oh wait, I get it. It's to lure in the alternative fuel 'liberals' into the jab. Sigh. I dumb.

Didn't expect this to turn political, I just thought it was funny.

Thanks for "getting it" Southpaw.

If it was a Canadian truck, it might have said something like:

"This is the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's coverage of Parliment."

Fellow Canucks will get this.

ANY gas fuel injected vehicle (not diesel) can be adapted to run on hydrogen or E85. The parts to do it are about $2,500 on the net. The idea that car companies cannot release them is based solely on profit margin, NOT on availability of technology... I do not get why the"think green" advocates have not went the next step... The technology is available to run vehicles on methane...ant it burns almost as cleanly as hydrogen

Ok. Well I was talking about a car on the market. While it might cost 2500 bucks I have no clue how to do it, nor would I want to mess with my new hypothetical truck still under a hypothetical warranty. I also wouldn't know how to refill it either. So sorry I'm not MacGuyver able whip up a batch of hydrogen fuel out of office supplies. I'm just not as smart as you I guess. You should be a millionaire by now with these easy 2500 dollar conversion kits.
