Weird story, but pretty cool.

That IS amazing but I can't help think of how we'll all read about this going sideways and deadly one day.

It's a valid concern, but the guy's had him for six years. I almost have to think that if something could go wrong, it would have gone wrong long before that.

Watch the video above, the guy with the grizzly is actually a biologist, not some dingbat that thought it would be "cool" to have a chimp, or a nutball that actually thought he could push brown bears around.

Not saying there won't be issues, but I would be willing to guess that Brutus' "dad" will be able to discern when the situation is getting dangerous and get everyone away.

This is not an "apples to apples" comparison....

But it is lions, and tigers, and bears. Oh my. Mostly with the bears part.

Anyone think to ask him where the Golden Compass was?

Wait, that's a polar bear. Nevermind.

Yeah, but that bear looks to be HUNGRY at the dinner table and some of the people there probably can't outsprint a HUNGRY bear.

Chimps are also agressive with humans in nature. Bears really are not.

Brutus has probably had thousands of meals with people. I think he can discern what is appropriate food and what isn't by now.

I think he's actually way better behaved than most of OUR 6 year-olds.

I don't know... I just feel like his "dad" can be trusted about when it's okay for him to hang out with people.

Anyone else think that guys wife is pretty hot? Oh crap, thats Missi Pyle!

This reminds me of Moe. You know Moe? He was a chimp that lived a few blocks from me. He was raised from a baby chimp by a couple. The one day he bit some ladies finger off and they had to put Moe in a zoo like habitat. One day Moe's "Mom & Dad" went to vist him. Now Moe's "dad" is missing half his face, as well as his johnson.

The article said he was a naturalist, not a biologist.
