I got a cheapo tripod at Radio Shack for $10 the other day and decided to snap a few pictures. We're putting in hardwood floors on the entire upstairs of our house, so for the time being, I've got all my basses and "toys" downstairs in the theater. Things are a little crowded, but right now it's a great room to hang out in.
I know I have a lot of basses (Thanks, TB! ), but I rarely have them all in the same room. It's a little alarming to see all of them together in their cases. Hello, my name is Bart, and I am a GAS-aholic. I also have a very indulgent wife.
Here are three very different basses. My Sadowsky PJ, my new Frankenbass-to-be Squier VM Jazz (Xmas present), and my trusty Steinberger XL-2, which was my main bass for a decade and remains a favorite.
The back of the theater. Because of the floors, I moved my Perfect Chair recliner down to the theater. I got the Perfect Chair after my back surgery, and it is incredibly comfortable. I'm now thinking of getting another one for the theater down the road -- good seating is a critical and often overlooked part of a home theater. Gotta be ergonomic for those long evenings of Call of Duty 4 or Halo 3 on the big screen.
Crappy pic of the front of the theater showing the screen. I ought to get more lighting in future pics. |

How are you triggering the shutter? If you don't have a remote release try setting the timer so you don't jiggle the camera by pressing the shutter release.

Good idea, though. Thanks!!! |

I'll keep an eye on my Lava Swirl BH5 while you're here, though.
