| | | | They usually allow 5 over in order to accomodate speedometer error. I don't believe it is compulsory...technically, your speedo is supposed to be accurate, and it's your equipment, so you're responsible.
That said, the cop was a penis. |

And how do we know it wasn't Keith with the attitude problem that help earn that ticket?

...But I don't have an attitude problem. My "Yes sir" and "No sirs" were all there. This was my first run in with the cops after all.
I guess I just wanted to rant.
Does anyone know what a ticket like that costs? I don't see anything on the ticket itself. |

Keith, I didn't think you were complaining with your post. You admitted you were speeding. That says alot about you. And the fact that you said sir. I have no idea what it will cost you, but you may be able to keep it off of your record with defensive driving. As an insurance agent, I would suggest you do that if possible

No points and no insurance issues involved... So I'll take that as my warning...
Other than that... I had a good night. Quote:

I got a ten over in a school zone. Went to court, got zero points on my licence, but had to pay a minimum $200 fine. And court costs. But since colo springs is the second or third worst city for speed traps, I don't feel so bad. |
