My plant won't grow

Sign in to disble this ad
To all TB Botanists, my swiss cheese plant won't grow. It isn't dieing, but it doesn't sprout new stems either. Even my Yucca has grown some 5 cm in the past 2 months, so I don't understand what's wrong. Any solutions?

Lay off the pot, you don't grow swiss cheese on plants.

I know swiss cheese doesn't grow on plants, it grows on trees.

I'm not familiar with "swiss cheese plant" but check to see if the plant is rootbound, it may need transplanting to a bigger container.

When I was younger (30 years ago) I burned out on
"Swiss-Cheese" and my music career followed...Now that I'm clean for 10 years, I can at least begin to get back something of what i lost...(I'll settle for 50%) . All kidding aside, in your case go to Amsterdam for the cure.....I love this site....

This whole "Swiss cheese plant" story seems to have alot of holes in it.

No, you want your roots to expand outward (to the sides) and stay near the surface.

It does seem like a way to ruin perfectly good swiss cheese...turning it into a plant.

Silly monkey, you can't grow a swiss cheese plant. Go to the market and grab some gorgonzola.

It's next to the window and only receives direct morning light. Got a cutting of 4 leaves with 2 roots from a housemate. His grows like there's no tomorrow, but mine does nothing.
