my professor failed hard today

So, i went into my last exam of the year for my Psychology Research Methods class. I was relatively confident I would get a 80% or so on the exam. So I go to class, with mild test anxiety as usual, and the multiple choice exams get passed out. I start taking the test and realize that every correct answer on the exam is in BOLD, wow, i thought to myself. I checked out subsequent pages.... BOLD, BOLD, BOLD. Then someone had to open their mouth about it... The professor said he cant just give everyone A's, so we will now get a shortened version of this exam emailed to us, and for it to be returned friday. Easy 100% regardless. Thanks for the fail prof. fail boat.

Nice. I once had an economics professor who, on the day of the final, brought us donuts and announced that there would be no exam and that he was giving us all A's.

My finals/juries are next week. Fun, fun, fun...

I can't help but wonder what kind of 'psychological research method' he was studying by doing what he did. Probably something to do with honesty.

This is true, but then it would have been too late for him to do anything, as that was the last class of the semester.

I'm surprised no one beat the hell out of that kid. Or did they? At least things worked out either way.

If your prof is giving you a take home test he should make it EXTREMELY hard.

Otherwise I think he is not doing you any favours.

There is no free lunch.

(BTW, I am an educator.)

This is especially true in OP's age range (which is mine too). College & Uni giving out free grades directly gets in the way of students' future career.

Lucky bastid. It's almost time for me again to start studying for my exams. Thermodynamics 2, fluid dynamics, mechanics of materials 2, Dynamics 2.
Gonna suck big time.

Speaking of, I've got a bottle of Bacardi 151, a 750mL of Arrogant Bastard, a sixer of Abita Turbodog, and several other partial bottles of liquor left over from previous escapades.

I'm all prepared for my exams.

In my drama 105 class i tooj the final on the paper she handed back my grade said 50-14=44/50, basically she did her math wrong and gave me a 44/50 which is an 88% instead if a 34/50 which is a 68% i think.

I did not say a damn word it gave me an A instead of a B in the class and when i relay on financial aid and scholarships i'll take that mess up

No it doesn't. Outside of medicine and engineers the majority of people do not work in a field related to their major.

arrogant bastard comes in 750s? thanks, i had no idea. only had it once in san diego, where i think its made (not sure), but always thought itd be next to the beer, even though its 12% or so. no wonder ive never been able to find it around here. ive been looking in the wrong place.

as for the topic, thats pretty awesome. i wonder if he copied the master version or something. any test that is 100% multiple choice is great, provided it doesnt have that "none of the above" bs. it removes all that doubt.
