My roommate let a crackhead look at my gear.

Help me, please. I am absolutely freaking out. We have a new neighbor across the hall in my building, who turns out to be a crack head. My roommate is a big pothead and was hanging out with her today, in her place she had a lot of nice things and said she had lots of money. Then he let her into my place where I have $6500 worth of guitars in cases on the couch, my drums, amps, computer, etc. The worst part is, last week I had to kick down my door because I lost my key, and the neighbor saw that the door is weak now.

WHAT DO I DO?! HELP!

Find crack to sell her before she steals your gear to buy it.

Fix your door/lock? Take pics and the serial numbers of your gear?

Put some cyanide in a plastic bag near your door. Let him in. Wait for the obvious conclusion. Hide the evidence.

I wish I had some crack, then I could set up some sweet crack head snare trap or something. Or maybe they would only take it, and not my equipment. This roommate has been nothing but a pain in my ass for the past year. So much drama you wouldn't believe. I wouldn't have anything like house insurance either right?

The best thing to do in these situations is to let paranoia set in and just sit beside your gear 24 hours a day until you know this crackhead is going to steal it.

Make sure to setup hidden video cameras all around your apartment and get a vicious hound of some sort.

Also buy "The Club" because your car is next.

All honesty. Take a pic of all of your gear with serials and defining marks in a text file. Burn it to disc. Mail it to a friend to just put away for you or just upload the photos to photobucket so if your PC gets lifted you have a record and photos of your stuff.

I don't own a camera. I will try and borrow one, but I don't have many friends in this town yet. I did write down all the serials though of the easy carry items.

I agree on the camera idea. Just make as many logs as you can of everything you own. One thing is to make a video of you describing your gear with serial number, color, little marks. Also for some electric instruments, or anything with a small nook or cranny like under a bridge slip small pieces of paper with something on them that you can identify like a name or number.

You're gonna wind up with ulcers and high blood pressure, dude.

Call the landlord to fix the doorjamb/lock, or fix it all DIY style, and then sleep tight knowing that you did what you can. If she is fiending bad enough and wants to take your stuff, she will get it. There is no stopping a crackhead. they oughtta drive in NASCAR, and they should have a baggie of crack on one of those leader poles like at the dog races. I might actually go all redneck and watch that.

Have a brew, and relax.

Drop an "anonymous" tip to the po-po that your neighbor is in possession of narcotics?

You're screwed as I see it. Same thing happened to our last Gtard. He lived in Crack City through no choice of his own and had his door booted the F-in at like 11 am on a Tuesday while at work (according to neighbors).

Best of luck to to you, I suppose. That sucks 110%.
