My trip to the "Fat Acceptance" nightclub on Saturday...

Many of you know that I moved out from my wife. I have been out for about 2 months now, mostly staying indoors and somewhat miserable and finally decided to hit the bar scene. I have a good friend bartender there who got me in and would feed me drinks, plus I haven't seen him in a long time so I made the 55 mile drive to the "Butterfly Lounge". I think it was Matticus who encouraged me for quantity over quality (maybe Maki too?), and with the prospect of some easy pickings, I set off on my mission in shameless man law fashion...

Now, there were some HUGE girls there, I'm thinking 300-350, Even a couple at what I would estimate to be close to 400. I'd say most were about 250...some smaller. Personally, I have been feeling pretty bad about my weight (not to my standards, which I'm doing something about), but these ladies didn't seem to mind. I was walking past a mirror in the club, and glanced to my left at a mirror, and briefly checked out my belly shiloutte and some mid 40's blonde, about 160 or so chick says..

"Own it sweetheart. Do you have your eye on anyone here tonight?" I said no and that I had just gotten here.

"We'll if you don't find me by the end of the night, I'm going to find you!"

Ok, so far so good. An instant pick me up. At this point, more people are starting to flow into the club. I hang back, and the end of the bar, hanging with my friend and met a nice looking girl who came up to order a drink. Sound and looks cute, just meaty.

Now, the club owner, who is a BBW herself approaches the bar and my bartender friend introduces me to her. she has some large implants, but looks pretty good. I chat with her for a while, and is basically showing me her breasts asking me if I liked them and were the big enough etc...totally playing for attention. Still, score #2 and another boost to my confidence.

By this time maybe a 1/2 hour later, cute girl came back and I start chatting with her. BBW club owner starts fighting for attention with her for me a little, but I end up focusing on 20yrs younger cute girl. Another score, women almost fighting over me! I ended up macking and doing some heavy petting with her, which felt great. Post weekend, the hard part comes, deciding if I want to try to go the next step with her..

At about 11:30, the bar put out a free spread for the famished (which amused me) - tortilla chips, a vat of melted nacho cheese, and hotdogs with buns and condiments. A decent handful of people flocked over there as it was put out...but I just couldn't bring myself to eat anything while I was at a "fat acceptance" club.

And I have to call out MJH5150 who thought that all the black guys would steal the action from me, which was definitely NOT the case.

All in all, I had a great time there, the girls were much easier to talk to than skinny/stuck up girls, and made it much easier to have fun and chat etc...I would go back, although I don't plan to make a habit of it. Most of all, I have a smile on my face today, and it's nice to know, I still got "it" in some form or another and that it did make me feel better.

Good for you man, glad to hear you had a fighting chance. We got a joint like that up here, and there ain't no way in heck a white dude would stand a chance with any of the good ones.

So are you divorced from your wife?

Cool, nice to hear your story! I've never been to one myself, but I've been known to put in an occaisional appearance at cougar bars...

I'm not too worried...CA has a "no fault" divorce clause, and my wife said feel free to date other women if I wanted. Still, she probably doesn't like it, and wants to work things out...sort of, with conditions. Anyway, no big deal to me. It's not like this girl can blow up my phone and my wife will notice.

I believe that men should act as a unified front against lowered beauty standards for women. It starts with tolerating a couple chubbies, and BAM! women will start losing their eating disorders altogether.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for suffering to be beautiful; I do myself. But, of course, I don't have anything against those who choose not to. It's a personal decision, how much importance you place on physical appearance, and it's different for everybody at different times and places of their lives.

It's nice to spend some time with open-minded people, as you said these chubby girls felt good in their body and so in their minds, easier to chat and introduce yourself than skinny and stuck up girls.
