It looks photoshopped. But since the rings are rings and not spirals, i'm going to have to guess it was an aircraft breaking the sound barrier.

The radio says it must have been a rocket launched from the east (Russia most likely) that fell apart.
Seems more plausible than any LHC stuff anyway.

Thats not what an A/C looks like whenit breaks the sound barrier....check out you tube for it. Its basically a vapor barrier that surrounds the A/C

it looks similar to the path of a charge particle in a magnetic field... maybe it has some to do with the aurora borealis manifesting itself in a magnetic anomaly??

but if they are rings instead of spirals then i could be wrong and the sound barrier theory is more plausible...

It looks like a missile or rocket launch that was aborted. The spin out like that before then fall apart. Look it up on youtube
