Is In-n-Out Burger THIS good?

I mean, seriously? I had it in Orange County and it was all right, but I didn't think it was traffic-stopping good.

I haven't had it yet. But NO burger (and I've eaten some damn good ones) is worth waiting in a line that long. That's just ridiculous.

those burgers truely suck these days. they were okay,... just okay at that. now they are paper thin and you get more onion, lettuce, & tomato than beef. the shakes taste real... (TASTE real). the natural fresh cut fries are only good piping hot. if they get cold, call the dog or promptly dispose of.
and don't forget to read the Bible verse on the bottom rim of your cup AFTER you finish your drink.
definitely better for you than Burger King, though!

they are good when compared to the rest of the fast food crowd. There are many local casual burger grills around these parts that are superior. Most backyard burgers are better too. I like that they cut their own potatoes fresh in store, though. I also like that starting pay is $10/hr- a very fair wage for fast food work.

It's way better than Five Guys!

I'm guessing that's one of the new Texas restaurants. The founder of In-N-Out liked to keep tight rein over his operations and refused to open restaurants further than one days drive from its SoCal base (the beef is never frozen). He's long since past and his granddaughter is now running the business. Looks like that rule has gone out the window.

If that's their philosophy then I'm sure they're using locally-raised beef. There's plenty of that in Texas, trust me

oh, so they've expanded into Texas?

well, good for them I guess, though I'm a tad disappointed that they're no longer the hidden gem of the west coast.

Then you apparently need taste bud replacement surgery, stat- in & out is OK/pretty good depending on how hungry one is, but *best*? No, not really. I won't even concede that to *opinion*. They're just not that great, dad.

I think people waiting towards the rear end of the line could profitably think about how they set their life priorities.

They would need to be handing out $500 cash with each burger for me to get in that line.

Think of how the crew running the restaurant feels. They are getting their ***es kicked.
