Name this Horror Movie

I was talking last night about a horror flick that I remember when I was a kid. I haven't seen it since I was a kid, and all I can remember is this little furry creature guy that would climb up into kid's beds at night, plug their noses, and suck out their breath, which subsequently killed them.

In the end, the family cat knocks the furry monster thing into the record player, which spins the creature into the fan, and chops it up.

Anybody know what I'm talking about and can name the movie for me?

I know that this has been a long time, but when we were kids, we go to our kid beds and try to hide on the scary movies that we used to watch. But to answer what movie you watch, Cat's Eye is a classic!

Yep, "Cat's Eye" the last segment

I liked the segment with James Woods as the guy trying to quit smoking and goes to a stop smoking clinic that is run by a mafioso whose dad died from smoking so he helps people quit by using mob tactics.

I thought that was inventive and humorous.

That's one of the best Stephen King film adaptations ever made. Perhaps better put, one of the only good ones.

Hey hey hey! The Shining is one of my favorite flicks of all time, though thats mostly a credit to Kubrick. King apparently hated the movie.
