Very original, creative in that strange Japanese way, terribly frustrating, and completely addictive. http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/nanaca
School girl smashes her bike into a school boy, sends him flying. Her friends bounce him further, her enemies slow him down. Special combos if you hit the right friend at the right time. Hidden effects from some of the enemies.

Simply click and hold the mouse when the meter shows the desired angle, release it at the desired power. Nanaca will then come barreling in on her bike from out of nowhere to send Taichi flying via her AERIAL CRASH! ability. The object is to make Taichi travel the farthest.
Once in the air, Taichi's flight may be influenced by any of the characters standing on the ground when a collision occurs, or from additional aerial crashes you can activate with a click of the mouse. When the word "AERIAL" highlights in red or blue, clicking the mouse will summon Nanaca to teleport in and give Taichi an additional boost. Red aerial crashes launch him upward, blue aerial crashes boost him at an angle towards the ground.
You have only three (3) Red AERIAL crashes, use them wisely. You may use as many Blue aerials as you wish, but they take some time to regenerate.
Under certain conditions, when Taichi hits Miki, Kiri, Touko, and in rare occasions, Misato, an alert signal will sound and the word "SPECIAL" will appear. Clicking the mouse within this special condition will activate that character's special ability. Some characters summon other beings, others use the character following her for a special combo. And there is much yet to discover about this very unique and unusual game.
Each character will affect Taichi roughly according to these rules: When Taichi hits Kiri, she gives him a boost. Her normal boost accelerates him up at a 45 degree angle. Misato will usually force Taichi to stop, so avoid colliding with her if at all possible. However, if you are able to activate her SPECIAL, she will boost him with the highest power of all. The first time Taichi collides with Youko, she does nothing ("Through and Run"), but the next time Taichi hits a female character, Youko will block that character's effect. When Taichi collides with Miki, she gives him a boost at a high angle of elevation. Power is a little stronger than Kiri. Hitting Sakuraba Hiroshi simply changes Taichi's angle. There is no change to his speed. When "AERIAL" highlights in red or blue, click the mouse to summon Nanaca to boost Taichi using her AERIAL CRASH ability. When Taichi collides with Touko, she gives him a boost at a low angle of elevation. Power is a little stronger than Kiri. When Taichi hits Tomoki, he just slows him down. Avoid the male characters if possible.
There is a lot of fun packed into this deceptively simple looking game. Summoning, combos, special abilities, and some real nice graphic effects.
All the above info was blatantly ripped off from http://jayisgames.com/archives/2005/02/nanaca_crash.php
My technique, is to get a major boost at the very beginning, by angling straight horizontal for the launch, and hitting the first girl to get an immediate boost and angle up a little bit. Then I hit the blue crash for a second boost, timing it to hit the next girl to get a third boost. From there, the distance should be racking up like crazy. Then it's just timing and diverting away from the bad characters.
EDIT: And if you angle down and hit a bad character immediately, just hit Try Again in the menu. I'll do that 6-10 times before I get a keeper launch. |

I was up to 120m/s and just kept bouncing him with red crashes. It was nearly 3500 meters before I touched another character on the ground! |

Join me, on my journey to internet nerd immortality.
I was quite excited to catch a truly prize-winning start for this round. I got a special right off the first launch, a second special on the first bounce, and was catching good air. Enough of a start to hope to tie Bass Junkie's highest score.
Lo and behold, I discover a new combo. I struck Youko for the Through and Run, so I immediately hit the Blue Crash. It dropped me into I think Misato, which is usually an immediate stop. I had a Special highlighted but expected to pass through it because of Youko. Instead, it gave me another combo I've never seen before! Something called a Type D Bounce Boost! I turned golden yellow! Not only did I get a MAD boost from that combo, but in another bounce, I realised that I was getting a rubberized boost just from hitting the ground! All of a sudden, I was really flying! So now's the right time to use up my Red Crashes to assure I don't hit that stupid Misato again and get stopped.
It became apparent that I was gonna blow my previous high score, as well as Bass Junkie's, out of the water. I didn't know it was gonna evaporate the water as well!!!! After I used up my Red Crashes...
...it was obvious there was no stopping now.
And I still had this funky Bounce Boost, which at the time, I didn't know how many times I'd bounce before it wore out.
I just kept climbing to new max heights, and faster and faster with every bounce boost. I'm getting freakishly fast now. And then, I reached my absolutely insane max height of 822 meters. At this speed, I was taking screen caps every second, but my height only changed by a meter or two. SICK.
At this point, my bounce boost was well worn off. I started losing speed and altitude, but still putting in 1500-2000 meters with each single bounce. Then I hit Touko for another boost! Keep this puppy growling!
And then the very next bounce, she gives me a Special Boost again!!!
And yet ANOTHER Special Boost! At this point I can't believe I'm still gaining momentum!!! I've had my Blue Crash refill twice by now, so I was using it to keep hitting more boosts a few more times, but got some slowdowns from that 'bagger Tomoki.
And then, ONE MORE TIME, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!!
As Murderface would say, BLAMMO!
Alas... even with that last glorious boost, it never, ever, lasts forever...
So ends my tale of glorious total victory. An immaculate performance, that I will never replicate. There's just too much luck involved in this game to ever achieve that kind of a score again.
The sad part....
...I know there's a nerdier Japanese nerd out there who will of course, tally up a score greater than this. It is, inevitable.
I leave you people now, to bask in my greatness, and celebrate, by eating a grilled stuft burrito at Taco Bell, with far too many packets of hot sauce. KNEEL BEFORE YOUR MASTER! KNEEEEEEL!!!! | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
