In honor of Dr. Stankface, I'm helping get the ball rolling with this thread until he pops in to take over.
So anything interesting happening this week?

Games start Thursday.

USF @ Notre Dame, BYU @ Ole Miss and Appalaichan State @ VT seem like fun games to watch. Trojans open with Minnesota - hopefully they can contain a mobile QB better than last season!
I'm bummed that the two marquee games are both at 5:00 - I'll probably choose Oregon-LSU.

We open with Montana this weekend, and Dooley has all but cashed the check on this win. From what I've heard, he's giving a ton of players good reps this week. Maybe that way, if we play into bad late game situations, we will have enough depth to make it happen instead of sputtering out (or getting cheated).
I'm interested in seeing a few of the option teams open this weekend too. Paul Johnson and Tech are set up pretty well for a good run this year if they can win their conference match-ups. Last season's schedule was terrible for them. Navy has a pretty good schedule complete with a few upset slots too. It'll be fun to see what both of them can do.
Also, I really like that Notre Dame has some rivalry/big games early this year. Finally we'll have more than one or 2 relevant games in the first few weeks of the season.

Welcome back college football. I missed you!

I was happy to see Dan Mullen get off to a fast start at MSU, I hope they do well this year.

Oregon beats LSU in the Violation Bowl
Boise thumps Georgia. The SEC kicks them out of the league. A & M replace them.
I'm so happy
I love football so......

Still. It's been a tough team to be a fan of recently. I like where it's going again now though. |

Either Western Kentucky is pretty good, or Kentucky got a whole lot worse. Yay, punting!
