Texas Tech at OU: Oklahoma has a lot to be embarrassed about with their performance against Kansas and they'll be looking to make up for it against Tech. Regardless and like always, this one's going to be a high scoring shootout, since both teams love them some passing offenses.
Oklahoma State at Mizzou: OK State's going to have a road test this week. Mizzou is just as fierce as Oklahoma or Wisconsin at home and as Herbstreet pointed out on Sunday night, OK State cannot let their Top 5 BCS ranking get to their head, otherwise this'll be a massive upset, something Mizzou is very apt at giving.
Kansas State at Kansas: Kansas' "worst ranked defense" held OU way too close during 3/4 of the game and kept them at bay in the red zone. If K State wants to maintain their sleeper underdog status they're going to need to not make the same mistakes OU made. Alternatively, last week might have been Kansas waking up and they'll do a number on K State.
Texas A&M at Iowa State. Iowa State is a Big XII punching bag and aTm is still doing everything they can to show they can play with the big boys next season. They did a number on BGIII and the Bears last week and this week's going to be ugly.
As for elsewhere....
Auburn at LSU and Tennessee at Bama are going to be nasty. Like, throw up in a pumpkin nasty
Wisconsin at Michigan State is going to be a real test for the Badgers. State is flying high after their win against Michigan and it's going to translate to a pumped offense. This one should be tasty.
Washington at Stanford. Ya can't stop Luck and I'm not just saying that because the Lucks have been family friends for years
And, well, huh. That's kind of it. My schedule:
11:00 OSU-Mizzou (if I'm up)
2:30 Auburn-LSU
7:00 OU-Texas Tech and Wisconsin-Michigan State back and forth

-Mike | It's the following weekend, Mike. Gators have a much-needed bye this week.

BYE looks tough this year, but I think the Gators can take them.

-Mike | The way our offense is going, we'll just barely outscore them.

Auburn pulls the upset 27-24!

The reports seem to originated from the LSU student newspaper, which is notorious for incorrect reporting. At least that's what I'm hearing out of Baton Rouge.

Going to be interesting.

| | | | Well, my Trojans are 6-1 after a gutsy win over a determined Irish team that was playing pretty well going into the game. Man, Notre Dame Stadium was electric and loud - it must have really been something to be there for that game! Of course, being a Trojan fan, the silence was even more golden than Notre Dame's helmets! Matt Barkley wasn't spectacular, but he took great care of the ball and played smart football for the entire game. Robert Woods and Marqise Lee are shaping up to be one of the better wide receiver tandems in the country. Marc Tyler and Curtis McNeal aren't exactly "Thunder and Lighting," but they're helping USC have a nicely balanced attack. McNeal reminds me of Jacquizz Rodgers, formerly of Oregon State. It's nice to have a running back like that on our side for a change! The defense is getting better week after week, and they're getting a lot of turnovers lately. USC could be 9-3 at season's end (I have to be realistic; their chances against Stanford and Oregon are not good), and considering everything, I'd be happy with that!
