Yeah Rutgers and Maryland is not a big deal but the chain reaction it may set off is crazy.
For one Boise State and SDSU are trying to get back into the Mountain West. Can't say that is a bad idea because traveling across the whole country seemed like a bad idea for teams with less revenue potential.
The Big East seems like it is over as a football conference. As either UConn or Louisville is going to the ACC. Louisville or Cinny may go to the Big 12.
Any number of teams from the ACC may go to either the SEC, Big 12 or B1G.
Things are about to get crazy. |

Things are about to get crazy. | Yeah, there's already rumors about the SEC pulling in Virginia Tech and North Carolina as a result. The ACC could become the new Big East almost overnight.

Things are about to get crazy. | I think we're going to end up with four 16-team conferences. I'm not crazy about it, but let's just go ahead and get there rather than dragging it out.
On a side note, am I the only one amused that Boise State, after complaining up a storm about not getting the respect it was due compared to Big Six conference teams by the BCS, was set to completely defy geography and join the weak-ass Big East? Join the Big 12 or Pac 12, tough guys.

In all fairness to BSU, the PAC 12 and the Big 12 didn't want them. They add some football cred but very little in the way of new markets. For a brief moment the Big East had markets but needed football cred, but it looks like the Big East is all but done for now. |

I'll let you play my Scheff Skyline 5 if you've never played one and want to. We've just about worn out football. | Well there we go then! I would so LOVE to play your Scheff as I've never seen one in the flesh. Lakland makes great stuff though so I'm sure it's fantastic. I absolutely love DJ's...I can't seem to stop buying and selling them.

I'm still very about no A&M-Texas game this year. Just won't be the same without it. |

I mean Florida plays FSU every year why can't A&M play Texas every year?

| Thanks, Dave. Now I'm going to grit my teeth and root for USC to win and give the Gators a shot at the title game.

What a damn joke!!! | Not to mention almost every play their OL was holding bad. Now that we won I don't have to sound like a poor loser but that was BAD officiating.
The interference call was one of the worst I have ever seen.
