SEC Championship
Alabama vs. Florida
First off, congrats Alabama. We'll be back next year though.
That will be Alabama's last SEC win this year though. Alabama is playing great football but even without Harvin, Florida is a team of a whole other level. Florida's D will shutdown Alabama's offense on the ground and in the air. Look for Florida to take the ball and cram it down the Tide's throat.
Alabama - 14
Florida - 36
Chomp chomp!

Hey, Doc! Glad you guys will be back next year. Especially Tubs, if the rumor is true. We still owe you guys a few! I'm anxious to see how things will work out on the plains.

This BCS stuff is a crock.
I'm very tempted to root for OU this weekend since it'd be better for the conference.

personally, i think either team will go down in the championship game. an okalahoma-florida championship, though, will combine for thirty jillion points!
i wonder if i can get harvin's injury status fed into my cell phone.
can't wait for the weekend! |

can't wait for the weekend! | I think Oklahoma would only score around 25-30 points on Florida or Bama. I'm not convinced that anyone in the Big 12 plays very good defense.

Old school meets new school is what it comes down to for you? I think there is a lot more going on than that. You guys are definitely going to have to get Coffee going early and often. Without a threat from him, Bama is going to be in trouble if the game is in JWP's hands. He isn't terrible, but I don't think y'all want to be in a shootout with Tebow and the Gators. JPW was adequate against the likes of Auburn, LSU, and Tennessee. Without a serious run threat, adequate won't get the job done Saturday evening.
Most of you Bama guys appear to be subscribing to the "get pressure on Tebow, and he'll fold" theory. I know Saban is smarter than that. The Bama secondary can slow the Gator WR's for sure, especially with Rashard back there. I don't see a lot of big hitting LB's on your roster, which is what you need to slow down the RB's and Tebow when he takes off. I honestly don't see the Bama DL being much of a factor in this game. Not because they are terrible, but because not much of Florida's game is played in the trenches.
I'm looking forward to seeing what the rest of you Bama guys think. We've all been waiting for this game for a few weeks now......it's HERE!!!!!!

Its not as simple as you want to make it out. Bama destroyed Clemson first game, and Georiga later. Florida has not faced a great team all year... until next week. Now go get a room with Ears and Tebow

Bama destroyed Clemson first game, and Georiga later. | Uninspired? Hehe, OK. Outmatched in that game was LSU, sure. Uninspired, no way?
We play in the same SEC as you do pal, and your non-conf games are more embarassing than ours were.
If you're calling the Georgia game one of your biggest wins this season, you're in for a surprise as well on Saturday.

Unless my memory is terrible, I don't ever remember you posting in the NCAA threads last year when Bama was a nobody.

You make yourself sound really not so intelligent when you belittle your own conference.
Like I said before. UF has played 5 common opponents. They outscored them and out defended them... So I really wouldn't be bringing up UF's schedule if I were you.
