Here's my weekly prediction of some SEC games... Auburn vs Vanderbilt
Vanderbilt is a strong looking team this year with an impressive resume, but they've not played a team like Auburn. Game stays close but Auburn comes out with another W on this one. 21-14 Auburn. Florida vs Arkansas
Florida will be mad as hell from that loss to Ole Miss and will take it out on Arkansas who's looking pretty miserable. 34-7 Gators. Kentucky vs Alabama
If Alabama overlooks Kentucky then they may take a disappointing loss at home. I don't think it'll happen (but I can always hope) and think Alabama will come out with a closer win than people think. 24-14 Tide. South Carolina vs Ole Miss
Look for Ole Miss to take a similar approach to the game as they did to Florida. Ole Miss comes out with another win. 27-21 Rebels. Northern Illinois vs Tennessee
Tennessee may come out with a win for the second time this season. Northern Illinois looks like an easy match even for Tennessee. 27-10 Vols.

This should be a pretty interesting game. Missouri has lost the past 15 games played in Nebraska, but our team is definitely of a higher caliber this year. Nebraska is doing pretty well this year too, going 3-1 this season, narrowly losing to Virginia Tech. I predict the Tigers coming out on top, but not without a decent fight from Nebraska.

We are missing a couple starters and some key backups, which is a total bummer for me. I really wanted to see Emmanuel Moody, the USC transfer, play. Urban Meyer is saying he won't play.
I'm sure my Gators will win, but not so sure we coast through this one. It's not that Arkansas is any good, my guys just seem to not show up for these kind of games now and then.

Tough one to call. With Auburn scratching most of it's offense, maybe they can actually do something. Then again, they don't seem to have any players to do anything with. Their defense is good, no doubt. But Vandy is will be super pumped about this game. I'm going to pick Vandy to win 13-10, but I wouldn't bet on this game! Bama - Kentucky
No way Bama will look past any team this year. Won't happen. Bama kills Kentucky 45-3. Florida - ar'Kansas
Florida easily kills a team that is going nowhere fast, an whiney Urban will run the score up as much as he possibly can. 52-3 Gators.

Vanderbilt is tough, determined, and wants to be the best. They won't have this chance again for a while. Vanderbilt wins 20- 13. Florida vs Arkansas
Florida kills them. 45-0 Kentucky vs Alabama
Alabama wins 35-10 South Carolina vs Ole Miss
Ole Miss but not by much. 17-10. Northern Illinois vs Tennessee
Come on, Tennessee did well against Auburn last week. Northern Illinois are nobodies. Tennessee 56-14.

Oh, and Auburn has no players to do anything with? I guess we've forgotten about Ben Tate, Brad Lester, Eric Smith, Mario Fannin, Tristan Davis, Robert Dunn, Rodgeriqus Smith, Kodi Burns, and Montez Billings.
It's going to be a fun day for football!

We now return you to your SEC love-fest. | In all seriousness, Atoz, is Weber State Division I-A? I thought the requirement was 6 D I-A wins, but I may be wrong.
And non-SEC fans are more than welcome to post, they're just too apathetic to do so, for the most part.

How are you enjoying our old coach?

Other than last Saturday, I think Urban's done a great job so far. He's brought in great talent, his system makes sense (and is far more flexible than the naysayers claimed) and he recognized right off the bat that the program needed a shot of discipline and pride after Zook. He just needs to do better at recruiting offensive linemen.

It's going to be a fun day for football! | Hey, as long as Stephens can get the ball into our receivers hands they can score. They have pretty good receivers and you know it. Getting the ball to them is the problem.....

| | Registered User | | | | | Whew! Bama held on. Just barely. Not sure what happened this week. They didn't overlook Kentucky I don't think. It was more just a matter of being unable to execute. Penalties, penalties. Oh well, they can't all be pretty. Glad they got a win though.
Auburn is having a hard time right now. Their offense is just absolutely terrible. And I'm surprised the way Vandy is moving the ball on them. 9 minutes to go, so it will be interesting to watch. Looking forward to next week.
