Auburn vs West Virginia
It's safe to say that both teams had hopeful beginnings but it's been rough for both. Still, I believe Auburn has more going for them than West Virginia. Tigers win 24-17. Georgia vs LSU
Another good SEC match this weekend. LSU has been slipping as of late and Georgia's offense will leave LSU's defense scrambling. Dawgs take this one 31-24. Alabama vs Tennessee
Do I really need to say anything? The Tide rolls Fat Phil. 38-10. Florida vs Kentucky
Sure Kentucky has a good defense but Tebow and Harvin will pick it apart. 41-14 Gators.

Although I never do get bored of seeing another Gator RB scoring from 75 out. Harvin is on the sidelines by halftime in this one. Wright and Spikes will shut down anything beyond the UK line of scrimmage. Rainey and Demps rule the second half.
Does anyone know what the national SEC evening game is this week? I'm hoping it is Alabama and Tennessee.

Some people have been complaining that Texas Tech is ranked a little higher than they should be, but with an undefeated record for the season, I think they're about on par. Kansas hasn't been anything spectacular this year, so I'm gonna give it to Texas Tech. The Big XII South definitely has some good contenders this year. Oklahoma (#4) vs. Kansas State
An easy win for Oklahoma. Baylor vs. Nebraska
Neither team has done particularly well this year, but I think I'll give the edge to Nebraska on this one. Oklahoma State (#6) vs. Texas (#1)
This will be a good game to watch. In earlier weeks, Oklahoma proved itself against Missouri with a score of 28 - 23. Other than that, they've played a relatively easy schedule racking up scores into the mid 50's. Texas, on the other had, has proven a strong team this year by sounding dismantling both Oklahoma and Missouri two weeks in a row. While Oklahoma has a chance to prove just how good they are, I'm gonna give this one to Texas. Colorado vs. Missouri (#15)
Coming off two straight losses to Oklahoma State and Texas, Missouri is coming back home with something to prove against Colorado. Colorado narrowly won against Kansas State 14-13, and hasn't shown anything terribly spectacular this season, so I'll give this one to Missouri. Texas A&M vs. Iowa State
Not much to talk about when you're at the bottom of the Big XII. As far as I'm concerned, Texas A&M has been posting better numbers so I'm gonna give this to them.

-Mike | Oh, nobody. Just the majority of the top ranked teams in the country.

Seriously though....Texas looks good, and they should banish Okie State to the bottom of the polls Saturday. I can't picture Kansas being good at anything besides hoops though, same with Missouri. I just came from Colorado, and those folks are ready for this weekend!

| You're probably right, but if UF goes into the game with that mindset, they may have a repeat of the LSU experience from last year...I doubt it, but overlooking UK is a bad idea...

I just hope it was soon enough to give us a chance to climb out of that mistake. Judging by our current BCS ranking, I'm not so sure.
I don't like seeing one team pour it on another, but it seems like you have to if you want to move up the BCS poll. I wonder where we would be ranked had we only beat you guys 24-21.

-Mike | Yup, I'm hoping both you guys and my boys in BRLA both run the tables, nothing would be more fun than a rematch in Atlanta at the end of the season!
You never know with the BCS, really frustrating to figure out some weeks....
...that said, how about class from Les Miles - he could have put another 7 up against SC Saturday night, but he had his boys kneel and walk away with the 7 point win.

Good move by Miles. This is where I have an issue with the BCS and the polls. Anyone who did not see the game won't know that and think the margin wasn't big enough for that game.
I have always said that a one point win counts the same as a 30 point win. But not so much in the college football world I guess. If the Gators go out and beat UK by 10 on Saturday and the team under them wins by 40, we're gonna drop in the polls.

Polar opposite of Mike Leach and Texas Tech, up by over a TD vs. A&M, calling a timeout with :25 to dispute a goal-line call to run up the score. I hope they get whacked just on principle.

Their pass defense was ranked 98th in the nation so Colt McCoy will pick it apart. |

| | Registered User | | | | | IMO, running up the score is no big deal these days as everyone should know it's required, including the team getting beat. I think the western schools do it because they know it's the only way they can show power in conferences with lesser competition.
The Bama game is 6:30 CST I think. Need to double check that. As sucky as Tennessee is this year, they'll be more pumped about this game than any other. Tennessee hates Bama, and vice versa. I think most Bama fans hate Tennessee more than they do Auburn, even though the Auburn rivalry is bigger. Bama needs to get in there quick and take them out of the game, and hopefully finish all 4 quarters for the first time in a few weeks.

They'll be at the bottom of the top 25 by the end of the season.

I'm a rabid Trojan fan (as you're probably aware), and I fell asleep watching this game, that's how one-sided it was. The Cougar defense was non-existent; the Trojan offense scored like it was pre-game warmups. USC was playing the fourth-string by the 4th quarter. I read somewhere that Jeff Sagarin had Washington State rated #135, which is appalling, considering there are only 119 D-1 teams.
I'd gladly watch USC play Florida, Bama, LSU or Georgia during the regular season. USC has shown a willingness to play meaningful out of conference games, which equates to showing the strength of the program. Rag on Ohio State all you want, but at least they had the stones to step up and play a home-and-home series.
