need help with my PC microphone

It just wont work, I mean the mic input or something i have tried 4 different microphones, 2 different soundcard drivers(suplied with it and the updated ones), have done the setup through control panel and nothing my mates cant hear my through TeamSpeak 2 nor messeger nor skype....


What can i do?

Is it set to mic?

I know for some reason on my computer it was set to "mute" by default

go into your soundcard software/control and there should be something like connection sensing in there

check to see whether it is recognised as a mic input. If its not set it to it or auto sense.

I dont know what is it none of the above worked. And whtas even weirder is that i unplugged the mic and the soundcard still detects signal through it and all i can hear is static noise
