for my Harley Sportster... it's an 07 Harley Sportster 883 Custom. It's red and black.

Max of 5 characters

I've thought of:

TPL (initials)
TPL87 (w/ birth year)
TEUFL (german for devil - favorite hockey team)
HIRME (hire me -- I'm unemployed at the moment)
WWSJD (what would Steve Jobs do?)

You asked for a vanity plate...

perhaps sheet metal polished to a mirror like patina.

What ever you get make sure you get an NJ Devils license plate surround

"BSTRD" - as in bass-tard? "TEUFL" sounds good to me, though.

5 Characters? I'd go with:

DOOSH

Although its mispelled, at least the phonetic pronunciation of the plates would match what everyone else is thinking when they see vanity plates!

When I was in college my roommate had perhaps more money than sense, and so he ordered vanity plates for his Corvair (see, I told you he had no sense!) that were just alphanumeric gibberish...but it was the exact alphanumeric gibberish that he had specified!

It looked almost like a normal Massachussetts license plate number except it was missing a character or two -- iirc it was "808Q" -- so almost nobody knew they were vanity plates except him!
