it's for my pedalboard, i want to be able to plug a power cord into it because i don't want cables dangling from it.
do you have any other way to put a power outlet on my board?

well the pedalboard has a power strip on it....or in it rather, but the reason for this, i dont want any cables dangeling off of the pedalboard because its a case also so when i take it out for transport, i cant have cables dangling
so what i want to do is be able to plug a power cable into the board, just like on the back of an amp does that make sense?

They're meant to go directly from AC wall to load.
I've had the same problem as you before...

To cover your prongs, you might want to get a small project box from Radio Shack or something so you don't have exposed wires when you're done.
