In need of things to do in Colorado (Fort Collins specifically)

Sign in to disble this ad
So, in a melange of opportunity, wanderlust, and convenience, I'm going to be headed out to Fort Collins on Monday, by car, arriving there on the 30th or the 1st (depending on traffic).

A friend of mine is moving out there, so I'm going to hitch a ride with him--I have no time stipulations, beyond the fact that I need to be in Boston on Columbus day, and I'd like to do more than go out there, help him move in, and immediately turn around and head back. So what's there to do in Colorado?

I know I'm going to be in Chicago (cheapest way to get back is the train from Denver to Chicago, then from Chicago to Boston) at some point in my journey, so any advice on things to do there would be quite appreciated.

And bug Pilgrim. I think he's a teacher in either Ft Collins or Boulder.

So far Matticus wins the prize...

But is that really all there is to do out there?
