So I'm doing some work right now for a company as a creative consultant, and right now my client just sent me all the information I need to proofread/tighten up/etc. in docx format.
I don't have the newest version of Word (I'm an open-office guy), and I don't have the finances to go out and buy it, so I've got to come to OT to see if anyone has any ideas. |

There's lots of freeware out there that you might be able to make use of. |

Essentially, I have to open in in MS Works (which I still have on my computer, luckily), which then prompts windows to convert it so Works can read it, then I copy and paste the text into open office. Slightly time consuming, but hey, I'm on the clock  | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
