Oh dear God... I knew when I was looking online at those kind of magnets that I ought never to buy them. Now I know why and will definitely NEVER buy them.

Hi.

I find it hard to believe that no-one has died yet when playing with these "toys". Not that I know of anyway.

I've always been facinated by strong magnets, but haven't actually bought any (YET ). I do have the website on my favourites though and it's just a matter of time when I make my first purchase.

What I fear is that eventually there's going to be restrictions to buy the stuff and that's understandable but sad. All sorts of interesting, even useful, devices can be made with these.

Regards
Sam

Whoa! I've always wondered about magnets as strong as this. I didn't know they came in small blocks and allowed people to just buy them.

So what kind of cool stuff can you do with these powerful magnets?

Besides smash your finger, of course...

Levitating lighting fixtures are one use i think can be looked into.

hrmmm. you could probably tip it over if you got 5 americans (or like, 8 normal people ) to sit on one side, AND if it wasn't tethered to the floor.
