Funniest thing I've seen in a while... I'd love to pick some of these up, but I'm afraid nobody would have any clue what they are.

Oh they exist. I met one a year and a half ago. She was friends of some of my friends who would frequent my gigs. She was obsessed with aeroengineering and physics, and she has plans on literally becoming a rocket scientist. She has a picture of Eugene Francis Kranz on her MySpace. When I met her, we talked about planes, and she is a fangurl, for lack of a better term, of the F-22 Raptor. She's currently pursuing an Associate's degree in aircraft maintenance and already has her Bachelor's and graduate school plans thought out. And yes, calling her attractive would be an understatement.

Why didn't I go after her? I was and still am in a happily committed relationship with my girlfriend...who just happens to have been one of my former undergraduate professors. So, um, yeah...I'm all about the hot nerd babes.

[hijack]

Hey Gard, I'm enjoying a bottle of Fat Tire right now. That was a mighty fine beer recommendation.

Paul, I would NEVER steer someone wrong on beer choices.

...let me know when you're up for a ballgame, we'll tour the Natty Greene's selection at the ballpark!

I'd like a couple of my previous posts as well....

Fat Tire's ok, but it's become like the Bud of the microbrew world. So many better choices out there, and the taste is kinda dull after a while.

Yeah I agree. Fat Tire is a second choice at best. I still like it but it's rarely a first choice.

I don't go out of my way for it, but I will pick up a 6er of it from time to time. I think it's above average to good myself. It isn't Chimay Blue or anything, but for the price of ONE Chimay, you can get nearly two 6ers of Fat Tire.

Yeah, I think there is a nipple effect on those image editing apps now. Not sure how to explain that super long neck.

I'll admit, I had to Google Foursquare. I can understand the in-crowd-ness of it, but there is no way on earth I would be reporting my location at all times. That's like taking off your foil hat and sending an embossed invitation to the black helicopters.
