I looked at this over the weekend - I was actually in Austria up to Saturday - and worked out that Holland is likely to have the highest level of Premiership players involved.

Holland - Italy looks to be a great game today!

I was in Salzburg - where they are welcoming the Greeks as their home team...bizarre!

Of course I hope for a win - but I am not really confident about our defence.

That's my man....ehm...btw Japan does not really participate (this time).

For further info on the German team, Bruce is the man to consult.

I watched Germany vs Poland and I think Germany played quite well - should have won by more goals!

But I think it's difficult to judge as Poland were so terrible...

On British TV (BBC) they went on and on, about how poor Poland's defending was - with diagrams showing how they were playing too high a defensive line, but not being consistent - 3rd Division level defending..

Hope it's gonna be a good match tonight, i dont care if the Netherlands lose or not, as long as it's not a slaughtering

I agreed with the analysis - it just means that it makes it difficult to judge how good the Germans were... ?

Yes, they should.
If Italy wins this match, Holland is going to win Euro 2008
