Ok so I am shipping a package to Baird here on the forums.. Its to Canada so I fill out all the paper work.. And they pick the item up and return it the next day for insufficient paperwork.. So I get the paperwork and the FedEX guy takes the package back.. Next day I get it back again saying insufficient paperwork but it doesnt say what I need..
I call FedEX and their about as useless as useless can be so I cancel the shipment and say screw it ill ship USPS..
So now I am getting billed $78 for the shipment even though they never delivered it..
So I called and told them what the heck are you doing, they said the package was signed for and delivered.. I said take a look at the signature you dolt it was returned to me, thats my Signature.. They said then package was delivered.
They refuse to refund me the $80 and now this bass is going to cost me $180 to ship.. For a $300 bass...
God it feels horrible to get it with no vasoline..
FedEX is Banned by me they can kiss my butt, so can UPS.. If someone doesnt get their act together I dont know how im going to ship anymore..

They have some unusual policies and are have limited pickup hours so they're just not at all convenient so my bass I just bought here sat for a few days until I squeezed in a half hour drive to get there on Saturday morning.
I've always shipped UPS and never had any problems. I never had any issues with purchases shipped to me by UPS, too. Based on my experiences with both, I'll stick with them.

Extra add-on fees were being added to my account well after the delivery to include "gas charges" "delivery fees". In one instance, a bass that would normally ship for $35 at the counter ended up costing me $135 with the add-on fees.
I've cancelled my account. |

if you paid with your credit card, contest the charge as service not rendered. that's what i do, and have never had a problem having the charge removed.

RS | Yeah I agree. They are giving you the royal screw job. I wouldn't settle for it, personally.
One way or another, I'd get my $80 back.

They ran me through a red-tape nightmare one time that I'll not forgive. UPS has had their share of problems, but not as bad as my experience with Fed Ex. USPS is the way to go whenever possible. |
