New Burger King stuffed burger

Sign in to disble this ad
After being bombarded with commercials for the new stuffed burger, I decided to give it a try. For those of you who don't know, it's a burger stuffed with cheddar cheese and jalapeno peppers. Now I'm not a big fast food eater but this looked so good. So I get this burger, the meat was so overcooked it crunched when bit. I didn't see any cheddar cheese and almost no jalapeno peppers. It had half a head of lettuce on it, half of which was brown and wilted. I was so disgusted I took three bites and threw the rest out. Has anyone else tried this? What did you think?

Not yet, but the ads make it look very tempting.

It's hard to tell if it's the design of the burger or the quality of the preparation and the store you bought it from that is to blame.

I normally like their food (for an occasional quicky), but every once in a while, I get something from BK that makes me want to puke, it's so horribly prepared.

My personal opinion, those things look flat out nasty... like something a guy would leave in the toilet after a hard night of too much cheap beer and bad Mexican.

The only legit stuffed burgers I've encountered are the juicy lucies you can get up in the Twin Cities.

Hunger pangs disappear whenever I see that ad. My bowels burble at the thought of eating one.

Just what the obese citizens of this country need - another reason to scarf down junk food!

Just sayin...

Shoot, I haven't had a stuffed burger in a long time. I'll be making myself one for dinner tonight!

Whataburger has already done this and did it right. After my freshman year I was burned out of BK (there was one in the dorms) and now I don't touch fast food, but if I wanted that kind of burger I'd go to Whatabburger instead.

I've had one.

It sounds good on paper and in pics but in real life...not so much. It's fairly difficult to taste the jalapenos and cheddar yet they give the patty a weird texture. I much more prefer the Extreme burger they had years ago.

I suspected that the theory would be better than the actual execution. Might be a good thing to try at home. Say for the Superbowl??

My thoughts exactly. I'll add it to the menu at my (parents) house.

I love a decent burger - but I have NEVER had one at Burger King or McDonalds or any of the big chain places. The food they serve in there is always the very worst sort of mass produced crap, imo.

I'm a fan of fast food burgers (Burger King's included), but the stuffed burger was just awful. Get a whopper or chicken sandwich instead.

I'm no health nut. In fact I'm 6'1" and weigh nearly 300 lbs. It's not that I eat so much terrible food or junk food. I just eat more than I burn off in calories. I don't blame my tubbiness on anyone or anything but myself.

That said, while it may look like I'm always headed for the nearest drive through to scarf on some greasy victuals, I just can't stand most fast food.

Without fail, every single time I eat at McD's or Burger King or any such place, I just feel like dog poop afterwards. It fills the tummy and eases hunger, but it gives your body less than nothing, nutritionally speaking.

All that type of food just makes me feel gross, though I prepare burgers at home and never have these issues.

The only "fast food" I can really stomach (see what I did there?) is places like Subway. Not great food, and still highly processed, but less greasy and nasty.

Sometimes I go for pizza, and even less occasionally I'll eat certain things from Taco Bell. Their chicken and rice burrito isn't all that disgusting and I can eat it without feeling like I need to hork and take a shower afterwards.

I used to make me some decent burger when I worked at BK, but just looking at this burger in the ads made me sick. I did love the dramatic music they play for it though. *extremely deep voice* STEAK-HOUSE!

If it's not stuffed with a ripe bleu, I'm not interested.

I take my jalapeņos and cheddar cheese seriously. That burger looks like a travesty. No thanks.

I feel the same with Burger King and Budweiser. Awesome ads about stuff I don't want to buy.

Every time I see that commercial, that Eddie Murphy "green pepper welfare burger" joke comes into my head.

Worse still, I used to hate those frozen pepper-burger patties you got in the frozen section at the grocer's and they immediately come to mind.
