New Car Day!

Sign in to disble this ad
So as my spoiled ass graduates from High School, I'm fortunate enough to get a 1995 Subary Legacy LSi as a graduation present

Really nice interior, clean as a whistle

And here's my first car as of today, which is a 96 pontiac grand am, the subaru smokes it in every way. it had a really bad condensation problem where the floor was always frozen solid and i had to scrape the insides of my windshields to see

I totally don't deserve this

Nice dude, put some real wheels on it and slam it. Is it a standard or auto trans?

Congrats on the new ride. I drove my first hunk-o-junk (1987 El Camino) for nearly five years before upgrading.

I got my second car this year, my senior year of college, right before graduation, as a present to myself. I upgraded while the El Camino still had some value to someone else.

Leave it alone, I always say. There's nothing wrong with it as is, no need to introduce things that could potentially cause problems in the future, and don't increase resale value. My brother went through five cars, put new rims on four of them, and never saw any of that money back. He just felt a need to upgrade for no reason.

Nice. I love Subarus. Those flat-four engines kick butt.

Is yours an All Wheel Drive?

You must be way up north or over on the peninsula for all that snow. Unless the picture is old?

auto, i don't want to drive a manual permanately, i don't think i could muster the attention span at all times. it was really hard finding a 4 door automatic subaru. my uncle couldn't even find one in the entire seattle metropolitan area.

Yep, I live up in Spokane. It snowed up here for 2 days and we got 6 feet of snow, as you may have heard. then it basically never snowed again, really. But it's been too cold to melt, that's how it usually is up here, sometimes it lasts until late April.

Yep
It could be nice on my trips to canada, whenever i get around to them, that is.

That's exactly what my brother did, except rims on 3 of them, one of them didn't last long enough. I could never see myself putting that much money into something that gets me from point A to point B. Except possibly a new stereo system, I don't plan to touch it.

Oh yeah, that's right. I always forget about you guys on that side of the mountains. It's like a whole different state over there.
