Cool ride. Congrats.

You need some rims for that bad boy.
Get rid of the hub caps and fill up the wheel well with some 17-18's.

Well, this car was already more than I wanted to afford, so no mods for a good while. I'm happy with what I got, coming from a 1987 GMC Caballero (El Camino) with 177,000 miles, this is at least a million steps up.

IMO that is completely hideous. That probably comes from being British though.

But congrats! As long as you like it, that's all that matters.

I didn't know you were a girl, tplyons.

We always joke about those and the PT Cruisers being girl cars, and I think it is hideous too.

But, that thing is ten times as cool as an El Camino!!! Nice acquisition, and it will haul a lot more gear than an El Camino!!!

As the owner of a Honda Element, I can sympathize with people telling you that your car is ugly. I personally do not think it is ugly. Congratulations!

HHR's capture the retro look like almost nothing else out there. That is a nice lookin' ride right there. I've seen one out here that has panels instead of windows from the front doors back- ultra cool.

Nice wheels- enjoy!

As much as I dog US automakers here, that is one of the few designs from GM I like. Nice car.

That's funny. And I'm a PT cruiser fan. I own one and work on them all day.
Nice car you got there. I bet it's a blast to drive.

Strangely enough I see more men than women driving these things, they're great cars. PT Cruisers though, are, IMO, girls cars.

Formerly working for Enterprise, I hated driving nothing more than the PT Cruisers. They just weren't right for anything.

The El Camino is definitely cool, I'm not sure, personally, which is cooler. The Camino is a classic. The HHR is a modern twist on a classic.

Thanks, I dig the retro look. I love the Panels as well, unfortunately, I need a passenger car right now. If I ever get a work truck it'll either be a Panel HHR or another El Camino.

They had it marked down for $14,000, had it on sale for $12,000 and I talked them down a few more. I got a fair deal, and still have two and a half years on the bumper-to-bumper warranty and three and a half on the powertrain. It's certified pre-owned, so it's got fresh tires, brakes and everything.

I'd say I got a hell of a deal. Over a thousand under KBB plus warranty coverage.
