Thought you guys would like to see this while it's still fresh... Actually, a little *too* fresh, haha... it's still bleeding a bit, but I'm sure it will come down in a few hours:
The rest of my tattoos (except for the bass clef on my wrist) are all woodland/faerie/fantasy/elf folklore-kind of themed, and I thought this would fit in perfectly with the rest of it. I don't own a Fodera and actually don't even really want one (I *love* my Ristola, and I'm a big MTD fan), but I've always loved their logo. A friend of mine painted the specific butterfly wings design, and another friend of mine did the tattoo of it, with the "f" in the middle. Here's a higher-resolution photo link: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3527/...940193e2_b.jpg
Just thought I'd share! Happy bass-playing, everybody!

I agree with you about not wanting to own a Fodera, but the logo is awesome.
One of these days I'll get around to posting my ink.

I really like the MTD "world" logo also, but I think the Fodera logo makes a better tattoo, especially in fitting with the rest of my stuff.
Here's the painting my friend made originally:

Dave - great tattoo idea. Did you have to wait 2-3 years for it?

Haha, well, what can I say; I'm Sicilian. Actually, now that you mention it, maybe subconsciously, that's why I'm drawn to this company & their logo... "fodera" is Sicilian for "butterfly."
