A gift from my dad! Blued, 7 1/2'' barrel, awesome. We share a love of large caliber revolvers. I'm a happy dude.

Check out a 5 shot cylinder for that puppy. You can push a 300 gr. bullet up around 1500fps once you get the bolt notches moved between the chambers instead of directly over the top of them!

I've owned a 5 shot before (Freedom Arms .454 Casull.) Love 'em, but I am going to keep this stock since it's a gift. He also gave my kid a Ruger Single Six. He's stoked too. A model 629 Moutain Gun is in the future (I hope.)

Sweet.

I'm waiting for my Brady check paperwork to come back, I'm getting a S&W .357 model 686 very shortly. Gun is paid for, just waiting for paperwork.

Revolvers FTW!

Mine is stainless with a 6" barrel. I'll temporarily be shooting 38 specials out of it, based on cost and the fact that the indoor range I currently shoot at doesn't permit magnum loads.

Avoid high pressure loads. Stick with average loads and don't overstress that roscoe.

That would be it. Only difference between yours and mine is I have fiber optic sights.

I looked quite a while for the right wheel gun to come along, this one presented itself last week. One owner, fired maybe 20 times......... $450.

I shoot .38 specials out of my .357 all the time. They're a little easier to come by in my area (.357s sell out a lot) and they're a little easier...enjoy that thing!

I love mine !

I paid for a 629 6" S&W .44 magnum, the time paperwork was completed the seller had sold it to someone else. I was very disappointed because it was a great gun, mint and cheap price. My dad was way much disappointed because he had paid for Luger P08 9mm. It's been a long time he wanted this gun which cost way much the seller wanted for it.

We got our money back but didn't bought new guns since. I wish I had a Sig Sauer P226.
