Price cuts across the board (massive cuts for 32 and 16GB iPod touch). iPod Nano gets video camera, FM Radio w/ pause function and slightly larger screen (2.2"). iPod touch gets more powerful hardware in line with iPhone 3Gs. Those are the highlights as I recall them

Seeing as how it's the "top of the line" model, I just thought it made sense. I've been waiting for a few months in anticipation of this release. Now I'm caught in between the nano and the touch. I guess I'll still get the touch, but I feel slightly cheated.

I also want the iPod Classic, just because. 160 gigs isn't to be sneezed at. but it is $240 dollars...

Get people addicted on their products, make products that have limited lives, and then rapidly update them to keep pumping the market and getting people to want the new models. |

I'm looking to get something to run along side it until I have to retire it. it's an iPod photo back from when apple was doing the iPod+hp thing (using HP's product distribution network to distribute iPods) Quote:

Think about it, they could have sold a lot more GPS/compass-based apps like TomTom to people who don't want to be dealing with a mobile contract, like me. Seems they're completely concentrating on gaming with the Touch now. Weird, considering the new Nintendo DSi has a camera...
As it stands, it was good to see Steve Jobs back, and the new Nano is a cool little gadget, but it's the first keynote in a while that didn't leave me with any Apple GAS. |

That really doesn't make sense to me though. I think they just want to differentiate it from the iPhone in other ways besides just not having a phone.

bc | Well, I can see how if there was an "iPhone without the phone" how sales of the actual iPhone would drop off.
Theres always eBay..., and just not activate it with the cell service... but there again, I demand my iTouch with the camera and GPS!!!

I want a Nano sized iPod with a Classic sized memory.
EDIT: Also, I do not want a microphone, speaker or FM radio.

EDIT: Also, I do not want a microphone, speaker or FM radio. | My phone's camera does not work. How am I supposd to exchange low-res quasi-pornographic photos with my significant other? Will I have to to use a REAL CAMERA and then EMAIL them instead of simply sending them over the Data part of the cell network?
(okay graned i'd have to take them off the iPod and put them on my phone but still...
I like large iPods. They are harder to loose, and there is something nice about the size and shape, like the Monolith from 2001.
I don't listen to the radio, but a speaker would be nice for some situations. a microphone, combined with a camera, could enable me to use Skype, as I do not have a real webcam yet....
Please note I understand your opinions, I'm just playing devils advocate and being sarcastic....
