The new KISS album: SONIC BOOM!!!

Sign in to disble this ad
Well, I don't like the title, and the cover is okay I guess, but the MUSIC, is WAYYY better than I had anticipated!!!
It DOES in fact sound like classic KISS!! I'm pretty stoked now, as I didn't know what to expect with this album.

Here's a 1 minute audio clip of one of the songs, MODERN DAY DELILAH.

Very 50's diner font on that cover. I'm not much of a KISS fan but it sounds like they are on their game based on that clip.

BTW, this belongs in "Recordings".

Cover kind of reminds me of "Rock and Roll Over"

But the clip sounded good, I will most likely buy it when it comes out as I've been a fan since '76..

I was never a fan of the band, but Gene Simmon Family Jewels rarely fails to crack me up despite being completely staged.

They played our high school homecoming in '76. Didn't go to the concert, but got close enough at the parade to know the Simmons doesn't smell good sweating in leather. Kid in my class claimed he lost his eyebrows during Firehouse. Doesn't seem likely to me, but he didn't have eyebrows the next day in gym class.

Concert made Rolling Stone. Ahh, memories.

Wait, are you from Cadillac, Michigan, because that was in the fall of '75.

I will say it's incredibly lame though that Tommy and Eric wear Ace's and Paul's makeup.

Sounds better than I expected ... good to see KISS actually cutting records again (or whatever they are called today ).

I dig it, but it seems to be lacking something (perhaps it needs some more salt )

That's AWESOME DUDE!!!! You're one of the lucky few who can actually say that you went to that school, but it sucks that you didn't go to the concert.
