Our new puppy of much discussion, Luba, arrived yesterday. She's a pure-bred Samoyed, and loves the snow as much as we would expect. She's still getting her bearings, is very quiet. She's only eight weeks old, but she has some pretty big paws so we're expecting her to be on the larger side when she's full grown.

Where did you get him/her? I want one. | She came from a breeder in Oregon. We were having a bitch of a time (ar ar) finding a Samoyed puppy in the Midwest, so we had to look elsewhere. |

I read on some dog website that Samoyeds are supposed to bark alot. That'd be the only thing that would make me hesitate to get one.
