Bought this 2010 Kawasaki 250R last week but was waiting the ownership transfer. Dealer called this morning and here is Evangeline!

I know they're far from the supersports, but 0-60mph in about 5 to 6s is GREAT

And a helmet.

We pay 2 mandatory annual taxes down here, one is a national insurance (DPVAT) and the other is vehicle registration (IPVA).
The DPVAT is the same value for any motorcycle.
The IPVA is 2% of the actual vehicle price and it applies to 250cc and over.
Private insurance is optional, but we usually get it because the national insurance plan for vehicles cover too little...

Peace,
Greg

Peace,
Greg | Today was the first day I went to work on her, it was fun but I'm still getting used to it.
Really nice acceleration and it is great that it won't go too fast, this way I can learn how to handle a sport bike before I move up (not that I plan to move up any time soon... )
I've seen on the Kawi forums that the 250R can go up to 100mph, but I really didn't go past 60-65mph and it is enough for commuting; so far so good!
