As lots of you know I lost my three Dachshunds recently. Two in July, and one just a few weeks ago on 11/07. Well, I was considering getting another, and when I found this guy below at a local shelter I pretty much couldn't say no. He was at the shelter since 11/11. His owner passed away and remaining family members dropped him off there. He's an 8-year-old Miniature Dachshund named Nico. I just adopted him this morning. He just had a bath. Now he's asleep on my lap.
So, without further adieu... my wiener:

On a side note, there are 4 long-haired mini's ruining, err, running around my house. I had to put a stop to the wife...apparantly these little dogs are addicting to some and she still wants more of them!
