Practice more. (But the new year didn't make me do that - recording my gigs did!!)
Be less of a buzz-kill on other people's threads?

The only difference is that this year I'm going to be celebrating New Year's with family that lives in Philadelphia, and whenever I'm in Philly I make it a point to take down a good cheesesteak or two and some pizza. A hoagie, maybe, but nonetheless it's hell for a New Year's resolution pertaining to weight loss. Oh well. Happy early New Year's guys.

Lucky for me, the joint is less than a mile from my house. I know the guy by name, that is how much we eat there.

-Mike | Hey, nothing wrong with the guy at the cheesesteak joint knowing you by name! There used to be a cheesesteak joint maybe 3 miles from my house owned by a guy that used to live in Kensington, so the food was pretty darn good. Anyway, the guy knew me by name, too. I really can't help it- when I'm in Philly I just really pig out, the food is really good.

I can only say that I'm excited about the new year. 2009 has been the worst.
Next year I will work hard to lose 10 more pounds and improve my fat/muscle ratio, go to school, work hard at that, and play bass again. I barely played in 2009 and I'm not pleased about it. And bank away money. |

Me: what's for dinner?
Wife: Well we could cook at home but we would have to clean the kitchen 1st.
Me: So McDonalds (actually we like a local burger joint called D.Lish's) then. |
