Get a tank and eliminate the horrible drivers here. Seriously, everyday I'll be driving along in my lane at the limit, then suddenly some jerk in a suv or pick-up decides it's a great idea to pull out and go leaving me skidding all over to the place to avoid smacking em.

I never make New Years resolutions but as of three weeks ago it has become necessary (under imminent threat from The Grim Reaper) to seriously and permanently adjust my diet and exercise habits and stress levels. Ever since I moved and had to leave my regular martial arts classes I've been lazy and undisciplined and it's taken a serious toll on my health.

It's been 1400 calories per day of almost entirely fresh veggies and fruit plus treadmill and weights for me for the past few weeks. Once my weight drops and my B.P. comes down to less alarming levels then it's more of the same but with an increase in calories to a maintenance level of around 2000.

Not purposely a New Yeas resolution, but I've resolved to do it and it has come just around the time of the New Year.

Never been much of a NYR type dude. Those are for people who make goals, but are secretly looking to quit 'em. My goals for 2009 (not to be confused with a NYR) is to get through several music books cover to cover, read a few books, and bike 200-250 miles per week (weather permitting) during the riding months (usually March-October).

Not trying to start any trouble but I do tend to hold myself to my resolutions...not every single one, but the ones that matter I follow through on. Honest Injun!

I can't speak for the rest of the guys, but so far I'm sticking to mine. I'd say I'm at least 40% more sarcastic in 2009 than I was in 2008.

Well you have to choose your battles. One could easily resolve to tie one's shoes in 2009 or accomplish world peace. I'm shooting in between the two.
