Newt attacked by glitter at an anti-gay event

This is the best single person protest, ever.

I saw this yesterday. The part where the security officer is speaking at the end is priceless. It reminds me of the Sith from Starwars or something, taunting the hero.

Was it magic glitter that turns you gay? If not, why bother?

I'm no fan of Newt Gingrich but after readig a couple of articles it seems a bit sensationalist to title this an "anti gay event".

Do they get it at specialty shops or can strippers just cruise down the arts and crafts aisle for glitter?

When the hecklers stoop to that level, it not only shows their lack of character, it demonstrates how little interest they have in accomplishing positive things in general. There's nothing decent, or worthwhile in that kind of performance.

People like that throwing stuff on others 'in public' are morons, or worse...

YMMV

I thinks it's just regular glitter combined with sweat, smoke machines, and daddy issues. That stuff will forever be affixed to a nice suite.

Newt should be glad it was glitter and not a Glock.

I would say that at least it wasn't harmful and he got his message out. And I doubt Newt will ever forget. It's obviously not the best form of protest.

In general, I just thought it was amusing.
